My biggest and most adventurous app to date, Monster Physics, has just been released! Monster Physics is a unique building app that lets you play with physics! Build intricate, working contraptions with over 68 different parts including wheels, rockets, propellers, cannons, magnets, claws, wings and more. Choose from different materials including metal, wood, plastic, rubber and ice. Connect parts together by welding them, drawing a rope or chain between them with your finger or using special dynamic joints to bring them to life.

Once your invention is complete, Monster Physics will render it with it’s built-in physics engine and let you actually operate your creation in real time. You can drive your car, operate your crane, guide your rocket into space or fly your helicopter! The possibilities are limited only by your imagination.

Monster Physics comes with 50 missions for you to solve including simple tutorials as well as mind-bending challenges. Many of the missions are open-ended and can be solved with a wide variety of different solutions so you can play them over and over again. Players will learn problem-solving and creative-thinking skills while having tons of fun.

Players learn physics “hands on” through solving missions and building and refining their own inventions. In addition, a separate learn section introduces players to basic physics concepts such as friction, force, mass, acceleration and more.

My latest visit to Kiawah Island was another great opportunity to do some Night Photography. This time I explored other locations besides just the beach itself. I also experimented with different angles and got a chance to use my new multicolored LED flashlight.

Presidents vs. Aliens focuses on basic presidential facts such as nicknames, quotes, dates in office, political Party, predecessors and successors, historical events and more. You can use the 44 president flash cards to refresh your knowledge of the presidents or jump right in and start playing. For every level you complete in the game, you earn a randomly chosen president. You can always view the presidents you’ve earned on your own customized presidents screen.There are two bonus games included with Presidents vs. Aliens: Heads of State and Executive Order. Heads of State shows pictures of the presidents floating in space and it’s up to you to correctly identify them. Executive Order randomizes the presidents and your goal is to arrange them in the correct chronological order.You can adjust the difficulty of the game by choosing which types of questions you’re asked. Stack the Countries!

After many weeks of hard work, I’m very happy to announce the release of Stack the Countries!After the success of Stack the States, I received many requests to make a similar game for the countries of the world… so I did! Stack the Countries offers the same fun and learning as Stack the States, but also adds many new features giving it a much larger scope.

The game focuses on basic country information such as capitals, landmarks, major cities, continents, border countries, languages, flags and more. You can dive right in and play or brush up on your country knowledge by using the 192 country flash cards and the interactive maps of the continents. As you progress in the game, you earn more countries to add to your personalized map of the world. You also unlock the two free bonus games.

Map It! is a bonus game that’s designed to help players learn where the countries are located on the map. First pick a continent to play with then tap the location on the map where the requested country is located. Pile Up! is another bonus game that helps players identify the countries based on their shape.

Since learning the countries of the world is more difficult than the 50 states, I’ve added a few features that will help ease the learning curve. First, each player can choose to focus only on one continent at a time. Also, each player can choose which of the 8 types of questions are asked.
