I painted this for my daughter on her 12th birthday using a mirror technique that I learned about from the documentary Tim’s Vermeer. Unfortunately, I had to rush to finish it before I picked her up from school. Overall, I’m happy with my first portrait and look forward to trying this technique more in the future.
